Abstract
The decrease in apparent viscosity of blood with decreasing tube radius (Fahraeus-Lindqvist effect) under steady flow conditions, is well known. The question naturally arises: what is the effect of tube size on the apparent viscosity of blood under oscillatory conditions? The purpose of this study was to answer this question.
