Elastic constants and pressure derivatives of hexagonal lanthanum

The second-and third-order elastic constants of hexagonal lanthanum have been calculated using a nearest-neighbour central interaction model. The pressure derivatives of the second-order elastic constants have been evaluated using the third-order elastic constants. © 1988.
