Abstract
Graphite nanoplatelets (GNP) were prepared by thermal exfoliation of acid intercalated graphite and functionalized by acid treatment. The high pressure hydrogen adsorption-desorption measurements were carried out for f-GNP. The exfoliated f-GNP shows a hydrogen storage capacity of 0.5 wt % at 20 bar and 300 K. © 2011 American Institute of Physics.
