Abstract
An autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) is a robot that moves underwater without the need for human input. Biomimetic AUVs (BAUVs) are the recent development in the area of Underwater vehicles, which eliminates conventional propellers. The term bio-mimetic means the imitation of nature's method. The majority of the BAUV systems take a fish-like structure. This study examined an effective Biomimetic Autonomous Underwater Vehicle design with the heading and navigation control methods. The heading controller introduced here helps steer the vehicle at a particular heading angle according to the requirement. This paper summarises the comparison of the fuzzy logic controller and neuro-fuzzy system in navigation applications.
