A New Method of Solving Optimal Servo Problems Reducible to Regulator Problems

Abstract A new method of solving linear single-input single-output optimal servo problems reducible to regulator problems is presented. The starting point for the design procedure is the description of the plant in state-variable equations, and there is no need to compute the transfer function of the plant.
