Abstract
This paper describes and demonstrates the application of a numerical scheme to predict three-dimensional laminar flows through complex geometries using body fitted co-cordinate (BFC) system. Two cases studied include two-dimensional flow in a square cavity and three-dimensional flow in a 90-degrees bend of square cross-section. Discretization of the governing equations and the scheme employed are explained. The predicted results are compared with available experimental data.
