Abstract
Logistic growth models in ecology are deterministic models which describe density-dependent logistic population growth. A detailed description of the population biology for certain applications suggests that a power-law logistic model may be more realistic biologically in some instances, where this model generalizes the Verhulst-Pearl equation. The determistic power-law logistic model is analyzed.
