Abstract
Have you ever been in a situation where you were travelling by bus, and you failed to alight at your desired stop? Many bus transport mobile applications have been developed throughout the years with useful features like bus arrival timing and journey monitoring/planning. However, they require internet connectivity. However, there can be situations where you require the use of these applications but couldn't due to circumstances that prevent you from accessing the internet, for instance lack of proper internet connectivity. In this project, we designed and developed an offline journey Android application that allows users to monitor their bus journey without internet connectivity. Using this application, the users are also able to reach their desired bus stop without having to actively monitor the application throughout their entire journey.
