Viscosities of Binary Mixtures of n-Butyl Acetate-Methyl Ethyl Ketone or Isoamyl Alcohol at 35° C

Measurements of viscosity as a function of composition at 35° C for the binary mixtures of n-butyl acetate-methyl ethyl ketone or isoamyl alcohol are reported. The experimental values for the viscosity agree with those calculated from the equations suggested by McAllister, Katti, and Chaudhri, and from the equation using the Redlich and Kister equation for the Gibbs excess free energy, within about 8% error. © 1971, American Chemical Society.
