Abstract
A non-contact method of measuring the conductivity of pure and mixed stages of graphite-ferric chloride intercalation compounds has been outlined. This r.f. technique is insensitive to the degree of anisotropy and is found to be well suited to the measurement of in-plane conductivities in quasi-two-dimensional systems. An approximate method of estimating the percentage composition of stages in mixed stages by measuring the conductivity is described. © 1995.
