Abstract
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is employed in clinical diagnosis for the in-vivo discrimination between tumor and normal tissues. The inductive logic programming tool Progolis is used for the measurement of signal intensities in clinical scan images to discover quantitative knowledge discrimination. This tool provides one more factor to the diagnostic radiologist, and it is useful in arriving at a differential diagnosis in specific situations.
