Abstract
A model reference approach is proposed to distinguish failure from core saturation during switching test in windings. Results on model linear and non-linear inductors are presented. Experimental investications are performed to study the magnetic core configuration on the partial discharge (PD) behaviour of winding. © 2004 IEEE.
