Abstract
This paper discusses the architecture and acoustics of the IMAGE auditorium at Chennai, India. The hall has been modelled using CATT-acoustic software and the objective room-acoustic parameters such as reverberation time (R T), early decay time (EDI), clarity factor (C 80), strength (G) and lateral energy fraction (LEF) are determined. The quality of the hall in relation to these parameters and the spatial variation in the hall are analysed.
