RECONSTRUCTION FROM FOURIER TRANSFORM PHASE WITH APPLICATIONS TO SPEECH ANALYSIS.

The authors address the problem of signal reconstruction from the Fourier transform phase. In particular, they examine two aspects of this problem. First, they discuss signal reconstruction from the phase spectrum of the short-time Fourier transform (STFT). Next, they examine the problem of signal recovery from partial phase information. Results on these studies on reconstruction from partial phase are presented as well as a discussion on the application of these results in speech analysis and coding.
