Correlations between catalytic activity and physicochemical properties of rare earthtransition metal perovskites

In the catalytic decomposition of nitrous oxide studied in connection with autoexhaust treatment over a series of rare earth-transition metal perovskites (LaMO3where M = Co, Mn, Fe or Cr), oxygen desorption is found to be rate controlling. Correlations of activation energy with physico-chemical properties of the system have been established. © 1981, Kodansha Ltd.
