Effect of heat treatment on morphology and optical properties of zinc oxide nanoparticle decorated multi-walled carbon nanotubes

Herein we report a facile and efficient approach for the synthesis of a controlled linear arrangement of spherical ZnO nanoparticle on the side walls of multi-walled carbon nanotubes.The effect of heat treatment on the morphology and optical properties of these hybrid structures is also investigated. © 2011 American Institute of Physics.
