Evolution of structure and magnetic properties of encapsulated Ni from nanocrystalline Ni-B

The evolution of core-shell structure has been followed through a sequence of annealing treatments. The core-shell structure has been realized through X-ray diffraction. These measurements are further supported by magnetization data that reveal ferromagnetic behavior at room temperature. © 2012 American Institute of Physics.
