Abstract
The stress strain behaviour of high temperature alloys has been analysed in thermal and thermo-mechanical types of loading which is very common in many elevated temperature applications. The rate equation is assumed to be controlled by hardening due to plastic deformation and softening due to relaxation. The relation is integrated by numerical method and compared with the stress strain response of some high temperature materials in five typical loading conditions.
