Common index divisor of the number fields defined byX5 + AX + B

Let be an algebraic number field with a root of an irreducible polynomial. In this paper, for every rational prime, we provide necessary and sufficient conditions on so that is a common index divisor of. In particular, we give sufficient conditions on for which is non-monogenic. We illustrate our results through examples.
