Abstract
The temperature dependence of the 35Cl n.q.r. frequency for both the lines in HgCl2 has been studied. The results have been interpreted on the basis of Bayer-Kushida and Brown's theories. The lattice frequency has been found to be very much lower than that obtained from Raman spectra data.
