Comments on `analysis of first order kinetics for tertiary creep in AISI 304 stainless steel'

Creep experiments were carried out on type 304 stainless steel using the first order reaction rate theory. An exponential function of time is used to describe the tertiary creep strain. The Monkman-Grant relation based on the beta envelope data is discussed. In the beta envelope method, each stage of creep is assumed to be described by a power function of time.
