Free vibration response of multiphase magneto-electro-elastic plates by finite element method

Free vibrations of simply supported multiphase magneto-electro-elastic plates have been studied by semi-analytical finite element method. Assumed shape functions are used in the plane of plate and one dimensional finite elements are used across the thickness of the plate. BaTiO3-CoFe 2O4 composite is used as magneto-electro-elastic material. Copyright© (2006) by the International Institute of Acoustics & Vibration.
