Abstract
We significantly narrow the effective linewidth in a coherent optical link from 75 kHz to similar to 2 kHz using SBS-based optical carrier recovery. Experiment results show that the phase recovery window length can be enlarged by over 100x with less than 0.5 dB Q(2) penalty. (c) 2021 The Author(s)
