A common fixed point theorem in fuzzy metric spaces

In this note Jungck's common fixed point theorem is generalized to fuzzy metric spaces. Grabiec [2] proved the contraction principle in the setting of fuzzy metric spaces introduced by Kramosil and Michalek [5]. This note offers a generalization of Jungck's theorem [3] in the setting of a fuzzy metric space. In the following text, the preliminaries are collected. © 1995.
