Abstract
This paper presents a variable structure type Sliding Mode Control (SMC) under current made control for dc-dc boost type converter having non-minimum phase charateristic. The robustness of the proposed controller is verified for load and line variations. To reduce the chattering and to improve stability, a Fuzzy Sliding Mode Control (FSMC) is designed. A detailed derivation of control law is presented by using Flippov's method and Lyapunov method for SMC and FSMC respectively. Simulations are carried out using MATLAB/SIMULINK software. The simulation results are presented. © 2005 IEEE.
