Comments on “Design of Linear Regulators Optimal for Time-Multiplied Performance Indicesâ€

A procedure for the design of optimal feedback controls for linear time-invariant systems relative to time-multiplied quadratic performance indices is given in a recent paper.1 There appears to be a fundamental mistake in the procedure given and this is pointed out.
