FRACTURE IN POWER LAW CREEP.

Fracture in power law creep has been studied based on the void growth analysis proposed by Cocks and Ashby. A new damage compensated parameter has been developed which is extended to cumulative damage and bi-axial and tri-axial creep conditions. The ability of the present unified approach based on the damage compensated parameter in predicting the experimental results appears to be very good.
