Determination of the Gibbs energies of formation of calcium stannates using calcium β″-alumina

Calcium β″ alumina electrolyte has been employed for determination of thermodynamic properties in metal oxide systems. Usage of CaO(s) as a reference electrode enables a direct measurement of ΔG oox compared to Ni/NiO reference electrodes.
