Spectral analysis of the transient characteristics of a bladed disk during run-up

A numerical method based on the principle of cyclic symmetry and modal superposition method using finite elements is presented for the transient analysis of rotating practical bladed disk systems. Some fundamental studies concerning the response of a typical bladed disk during run-up loaded by partial admission are discussed. © 1990.
