Publication: STATE SPACE APPROACH TO PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF SEPARATELY EXCITED dc MOTOR USING STATE TRANSITION SIGNAL FLOW GRAPH TECHNIQUE.
Abstract
A simple, straightforward and more elegant method based on signal flow graph has been developed for the steady state performance of a separately excited dc motor fed from a dc chopper. The solution is in a closed form. The method can be used to determine the transient performance. It takes relatively less computer time and is easy to apply unlike the other methods. The computational efforts are rather small and the variation of operating conditions such as voltage, load torque, inertia, etc can be studied directly using the equations developed.
