Two-unit standby systems with non-instantaneous switchover and imperfect switch

Four models of two-unit warm standby redundant systems with non-instantaneous switchover and imperfect switching device are studied. The units and the switching device share a single repair facility. Identifying suitable regeneration points, the availability and the reliability of the systems are obtained. A numerical example illustrates the results. © 1987.
