Abstract
Low power optical phase conjugation has been demonstrated in phenosafranin dye doped gelatin and poly vinyl alcohol (PVA) films. The reflectivity of the phase conjugated beam has been investigated as a function of various parameters. To verify the suitability of this dye for interferometric applications, the time constants of the DFWM and holographic components are measured. © 1993.
