Stability of hydromagnetic flows in a temperature and concentration field

The stability of an incompressible conducting fluid in the presence of magnetic, thermal and concentration fields is investigated by the energy method. Using variational techniques the associated Euler-Lagrange equations have been obtained which will lead to an improved stability criterion. © 1977.
