Abstract
The effect of gamma irradiation on the oscillating characteristics, namely amplitude and frequency, with variation in the concentration of the constituents of the B-Z system has been studied. The chemical species, especially H atoms produced, do not seem to damp out the oscillations. The alterations observed under irradiation presumably arise out of activation of the key species of the oscillatory system itself.
