EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATIONS ON FLUIDIZED GRAVITY CONVEYING.

Fluidized gravity conveying is generally suitable for easily aerated, dry and powdered materials. Most free-flowing particulate materials display a natural angle of repose of around 35 degree to 40 degree . In order to get such a material to flow continuously under gravity alone, the material is fludized on an inclined plane. Experiments have been conducted with raw meal and fly ash to study the effects of various parameters on the material flow rate.
