Vibratory conveying-analysis and design: A review

One of the industrial applications of vibration is its use for conveying materials. Investigations into the phenomenon of vibratory conveying started about three decades back. This report is a review of the published papers in the area of vibratory "jump" conveying. While many have contributed to understand the phenomenon of vibratory conveying, there is still vast scope for work on the dynamics and design aspects of the vibratory conveyor. © 1979.
