Synthesis of transfer functions using the operational amplifier pole

A transfer-function synthesis which takes into account the frequency dependence of theoperational amplifier gain is described. Apart from improving the useful frequency range of operational amplifiers, the method eliminates the external capacitors, thus making the resulting circuits suitable for microelectronic fabrication. Examples of realizations of different types of filters are presented along with a few experimental results. © 1976 Taylor and Francis Ltd.
