Abstract
In this work, study of porosity and temperature effects has been carried out on ZnO-Al//2O//3 system only. It is possible to study the same effects on other solid-solid systems and thereby attempt to derive generalized correlations for THETA , a and b in terms of porosity and temperature. It is shown that S. S. Tamhanker and L. K. Doraiswamy Model is adequate for those systems only, in which pore diffusion is negligible. For systems in which pore diffusion is predominant, the present model is found to be appropriate.
