Abstract
The reflectance of electromagnetic radiation from tissues, in range from 700 nm to 1000 nm shows considerable variation between individuals, which depends on above mentioned factors. He-Ne laser, being a monochromatic coherent light source of wavelength 632. 8 nm has been found to be effective for tissue absorption studies. The aim of the work reported was to study the various changes induced by a transplanted tumor and chemotherapy drug in rats by laser reflectivity method. 5 refs.
